This privacy policy applies to the HCC2D Decoder Android application and the HCC2D website.
Information We Collect
The HCC2D Decoder app uses your device camera to scan QR and HCC2D codes. Camera frames are processed on-device for decoding. We do not collect, transmit, or sell camera images or scan results through the app.
The app stores scan history locally on your device so you can review previous scans. That scan history is not uploaded to our servers.
Website Data
The HCC2D website allows users to generate QR and HCC2D images. Content submitted through the website is processed by the server to generate PNG output. Generated files may be stored temporarily on the server and are periodically cleaned up automatically.
How We Use Information
Information is used only to provide the requested app and website functionality, including barcode decoding, local scan history, and server-side generation of QR and HCC2D images.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We do not share app scan history with third parties. Website submissions are processed only to generate the requested barcode images.
Security
We take reasonable steps to protect the website and the data processed by it. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your Choices
You may stop using the app at any time and clear locally stored scan history directly from your device. You may also stop using the website at any time.
